Life can be tough for a teen mom. But it’s even harder when you’re trying to chase your dreams while juggling work and family responsibilities.
That’s what makes the story of singer-songwriter Maggie Lindemann so inspiring. The young artist has managed to juggle her career with being a mom, all while making waves in the music industry.
Maggie Lindemann was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She grew up listening to country music and was inspired by artists like Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban. She decided she wanted to pursue a career in music after watching the movie Dreamgirls at age 10.
At age 13, Lindemann joined her first band, called the Voodoo Dollz — which also featured her sister, Makenna Lindemann. They recorded an EP together and performed at local events around town. But soon after she started high school, Maggie decided that she wanted to focus on academics instead of performing as much as possible.
In 2012, Maggie began working with producer Jon Asher (who has also worked with artists like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez). He helped her put together some demos that would eventually end up on her debut EP For Crying Out Loud in 2016 — which was produced
Maggie’s story is one of perseverance, resilience, and determination despite all odds against her. Now at age 22 years old, she is getting ready to release her debut album entitled “Heat in the winter” which will be available on iTunes, Amazon Music & Spotify on October 23rd 2022!
